How do donation credits work?
Buy credits to activate the community referral feature. When customers connect your card to a cause they care about, that community starts hearing your name. Here's how it works:

After you subscribe (Entry, Pro, or Community Host): Cancel anytime. No contracts, no cancellation fees. Unused donation credits are refundable.
Can I get a refund on unused credits?
Yes. Donation credits that haven't been redeemed by customers are 100% refundable. Just request a refund through your account dashboard and we'll process it within 5 business days.
Physical cards are non-refundable (we've printed them for you), but they're reusable forever so there's no waste.
Is there a setup fee?
No setup fee. Business Entry and Business Pro both include a 30-day free trial. Build your profile, design your cards, and explore everything before you decide.
How do I record payments to SmallGyfts in my bookkeeping?Payments to SmallGyfts are recorded as marketing or advertising expenses, the same category you use for Google Ads or Angi. Simply categorize all payments as marketing expense. It's fully tax-deductible as an ordinary business expense.
How do you handle the money going to nonprofits and local causes?
We handle everything:
1) Monthly payments to causes when they reach a balance of $100 or more
2) All tax reporting (1099-MISC forms for causes receiving $600+)
3) Payment processing and security
