Think Detroit PAL

In partnership with the Detroit Police Department and community volunteers, Think Detroit PAL builds character in young people through athletic, academic, and leadership development programs.

Services: Annually serve nearly 13,000 kids with the help of over 1,500 volunteers Run seasonal leagues, camps, and clinics in 11 different sports, ranging from tackle football to volleyball to soccer to baseball/softball Offer summer leadership camps for middle school students, designed to help them succeed in school and in life Operate community centers offering educational and recreational programs for hundreds of children during non-school hours

Purpose: IN PARTNERSHIP WITH DETROIT POLICE DEPARTMENT AND COMMUNITY VOLUNTEERS, DETROIT PAL BUILDS CHARACTER IN YOUNG PEOPLE THROUGH ATHLETIC, ACADEMIC, AND LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS.
